Mini Trampoline

Mini Trampoline

When you are looking to loose some weight or re-start your fitness regime there are many different factors to consider.  You want to get fit but you don’t want to start with an activity that will cause too much stress and fatigue, and you need to be working hard enough to get results.

Back in the early 90’s there was a huge and very successful fitness regime called Reebok Step.  One of the main benefits was a low impact and high intensity workout.

In recent years, its popularity has severely declined, with a new emphasis on classes such as Pump or Yoga.

Whilst they are all very effective forms of exercise when trying to loose weight, the most important thing is burning as much energy as possible.  Constant exercise over a extended period of time is your surest way to burn those calories.

A recent development in the field of exercise has been the use of mini trampolines in a Reebok Step type workout.  The benefits of using a mini trampoline in your workout are numerous

  • The trampoline offers a low impact foundation for your workout; this will reduce injuries and help decrease the impact on existing conditions and old injuries.
  • Trampolines increase the resistance, as you are constantly pushing off a surface that is sapping and dipping, very similar to running on sand in this respect.
In addition, the changing foundation also helps you develop your balance and co-ordinatio. Working out on a trampoline is generally a more fun activity than a regular workout.

Incorporating a trampoline into your workout allows you to try something different and fun while still working towards your key workout goals.
